A Lowe’s residence enhancement store could soon be the most recent tenant coming to the Leland City Heart.
Leland Organizing Director Ben Andrea said the city is reviewing up-to-date enhancement site programs that would carry the house improvement retail outlet to U.S. 17 and Ploof Rd SE. Initial plans propose a 113,860 sq.-foot shop with a 27,720 square foot back garden heart.
Many Leland residents have been clamoring for a property enhancement shop that would get rid of their need to travel into Wilmington.
Diane Heffernan and her spouse are building a house and shifting to Leland soon after living in Wilmington for more than 30 years. Heffernan mentioned she’s fired up she’ll even now have a Lowe’s in her spot.
“With the progress of enhancement we are thrilled that businesses that we like will be nearby,” she said.
Mayor Brenda Bozeman stated when the prospect of Lowe’s coming to Leland is exciting, it will be vital to mitigate the retailer’s effects on website traffic with street advancements.
